Youngsoft, Inc. Youngsoft, a full-service IT technology and consulting firm that specializes in IT staffing, application development, and niche software practices, announced that Amy S. Courter has joined the company to lead global sales. Ms. Courter comes to Youngsoft with a wealth of experience in IT solutions and services and will be tasked with driving growth across the company’s service offerings. Also, she has been involved with C-level process improvements and delivery enhancements which should help Youngsoft achieve exponential growth targets.

For most of her career, Ms. Courter, 53, has been involved in the management and development of solution strategies, corporate infrastructure and delivery for technology and service companies, including 20 years at Valassis, a $ 2.3 billion marketing services company. First as a manager, and last as VP of Information Technology and Telecommunications, she set strategy and oversaw all IT operations, personnel and projects. Amy was responsible for approximately 100 employees, coordinating IT systems, processes, and business recovery world-wide. More recently, Ms. Courter has served as VisionIT’s CIO. VisionIT is an IT service and staffing organization based in Detroit. Involved with the International Air Cadet Exchange Association (IACEA), until this fall Ms. Courter served as its President. She is also active with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), serving as its CEO, National Commander, and Board Chair for four years (2007 – 2011). Ms. Courter was conferred the rank of Major General, USAFX. She is currently an officer of the Kalamazoo College Board of Trustees and serves the boards of other non-profit and for-profit organizations.

A native of Michigan, Ms. Courter obtained her B.A. from Kalamazoo College, studying her junior year at the Université de Strasbourg, France. Additionally she completed post-graduate certifications in Business Administration from Villanova University, and Executive Leadership from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
